It’s been a big month for new and updated features in Mobble including Backdated Days Grazed / Days Rested counters.
We hope to see a few of you at our webinar on Monday or in Brisbane next week for the World Angus Forum.
A much-requested feature has just landed in Mobble with days grazed and days rested counters now updating with backdated Mob Moves. As long as you update it within a two-week period, it will be accurately reflected in your grazing data.
Many of you will be utilising rotational grazing methods on your property. We’ve outlined the best practice tips for managing the good work you’re doing in Mobble including mapping, simplified record keeping, team communication and feed availability. Read it here.
On Monday we’re running a free lunchtime webinar and demonstration.
Join us live (we’ll leave time for a Q&A) or catch up on the recording in your own time.
You can now get a full mob history of your sold mobs. To do this simply select a sale and view history.
Previous actions and movements will be visible to you ongoing.
For any new offspring, we recommend adding them as a New Mob (using the Natural Increase option), ensuring they are added in the same paddock as their mothers. This makes it easier to split and sort the lambs and calves at weaning time.To record lambing/calving percentages of each mob, simply add it into the notes section of the Natural Increase record. You can also calculate total percentages by heading to Reports on the web app - and expanding each breed and gender group to see total numbers by age and class. Any questions? Drop into our webinar on Monday and ask in the Q&A.
• Brisbane is the lucky host of Neogen World Angus Forum 2025, a global celebration of all things Angus cattle. Held every four years, we’ll be attending this one - so you can find us at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th May. Are you going? Come and say hi to Jock and Sam at stand #62.
