How to use Mobble for crop records

At Mobble we aim to keep things simple and flexible. This flexibility means that in addition to livestock recording, Mobble can be used for basic crop records too. Here are some suggestions for how best to record your cropping activities from sowing to sprays, operations, fertiliser applications, harvest records and end-of-season summaries.

How to Add Cropping Records

Mobble has a herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers inventory to store your field application products. There is also a Feed, Grain and Storage inventory which is great for recording stored seed and harvested grain. See here for more help on managing inventories.

Activities in a field related to cropping are added as field actions.

To add a field action to one or multiple fields:

1. Select a field from the fields page or map.
2. Select Add Field Action.
3. Select Fields dropdown and select the checkbox of any additional fields.
4. Select Date and Action type.
5. Select Add Product if required.
6. Record any additional info in Notes.
7. Select Apply Action.

Histories and Summaries

Field Histories can be viewed by selecting a field, then selecting Field Info. On the web app a list of all field actions for a field can be filtered, printed or exported to a spreadsheet.

A summary of all field actions for the ranch can be accessed:

1. Select Summaries from the main menu.
2. Select Field Actions.

You can filter this history by action type and print or export the list.
