Herd movements, all you need to know

Move Herds

Handy feature: if you're attempting to move a herd that is within a withdrawal period, you'll receive a warning notification.

Herd moves are what drive the Days Grazed and Days Rested counters on each field, see here for more info.

Web and Mobile App

Move a herd from the Maps page:

1. Select Maps from the main menu.
2. Select a herd pin.
3. Drag and drop the pin to a new field.
4. Confirm details and select Move Herd, or select Advanced herd movement/split options to move herd to a new ranch.

Move a herd from Herds or Fields page:

1. Select the Herds or Fields page from the main menu.
2. Select a herd or field.
3. Select Move Herd.
4. Select a new ranch from Move to ranch dropdown (if needed).
5. Select a new field from Move to field dropdown.
6. Select Move Herd.

*When moving multiple herds within a field, you have the option to deselect any herds that should remain in their current field.
