Tracking your grazing management is simple in Mobble using the Days Grazed and Days Rested counters. Mobble automatically updates these counters daily based on your recorded herd movements. You can view these counters from Field View:
Days Grazed and Days Rested counters.
And also on each Field Info page:
Tracking days grazed and livestock stocking rates.
How it works
The Days Grazed counter starts when you move a herd into a field. We recommend recording herd moves on the day they happen; however, you can backdate up to 14 days. For more information, see Backdating Herd Moves.
The Days Grazed counter is replaced by the Days Rested counter when all herds are moved out of a field.
If a herd is moved out of a field and another herd is moved in on the same day, the Days Grazed counter will continue rising.
If a herd is moved into an empty field and then moved out again on the same day, the Days Rested counter will continue rising.
For new fields, Days Grazed or Days Rested will show as "unknown" until a herd is moved into the field.
The Days Grazed and Days Rested counters will not show on Corrals.
