At Mobble, we're always on the lookout for practical innovations that support livestock producers in making smarter, more efficient decisions on-farm. Our monthly webinars bring together some of the companies that are inspiring us in AgTech- connecting you with tools, ideas, and the people behind them.

This November, we’re thrilled to welcome Bill Mitchell, founder of Optiweigh, as our guest.

Optiweigh is a game-changer for real-time weight monitoring of cattle without needing to bring them into the yards. It's transforming how producers manage growth rates, optimise feeding, and make timely decisions.

Here are three key features that make Optiweigh stand out:

  • In-paddock weighing: Cattle are weighed wherever you like - simply tow your Optiweigh to where your cattle are, set it up in 2 minutes, and away you go!
  • Your cattle weigh themselves: Molasses, a lick block or salt will attract your cattle to step in and have their EID recorded and front feet weighed. The data is then sent to the cloud, and a total body weight is calculated.
  • Live monitoring: Live weight information is updated several times daily and sent to your device, as well as receiving a daily email summary.

Join us for a deep dive into how Optiweigh is helping producers get more of the right information to make better decisions for their livestock operation. Mobble's Head of Customer Success Melanie Brown will be hosting the webinar, and providing a live demo, best practice tips, and information about new and upcoming features during the session.

When:
Tuesday, 11 November 1pm AEDT / 3pm NZDT
Monday, 10 November, 7pm MST / 8pm CT
