Adding dog records to Mobble

Mobble is a great place to keep important records for all the animals on your ranch, including canines!

Use Mobble to keep track of your dog records using the following steps:

1. Select Fields from the main menu.
2. Add a new field 'Z Kennel' - the 'Z' prefix ensures it appears at the bottom of your field list for easy access.
3. Add a new herd for your dog(s). Select Kennel as the field, select other as the livestock type, then you can select Add in the breed section to record dogs or dog breeds.
4. Select Save.

You can add multiple dogs to the one herd if they are likely to receive the same treatments at the same time, or add each dog as a separate herd if you want to keep more specific records. When you want to record an animal health treatment for your dog:

1. Add any treatments required to the inventory.
2. Add a Herd Action for the dogs.
3. Record treatments used.

These records can then be accessed from the herd history when needed. This is a makeshift solution ('hack'), but hopefully this method helps with those compliance requirements .
