You can backdate mob moves to keep grazing/resting counters accurate — but there are some rules. Backdating does not affect historic livestock reports.
Web or Mobile App:
- Go to the Mobble Web App or open the mobile app.
- Move the mob via your preferred mob movement method.
- Select a date up to 14 days in the past.
Note: If moving a mob from the Map, you will need to select "Advanced mob movement/split options" to select a prior date. - Select Move Mob.
If backdating is allowed, the grazing/resting counters in the paddock information will adjust automatically.
If backdating is not allowed, you will see one of the below messages:
- "Backdating is limited to 14 days. Select a more recent date."
- "Cannot backdate beyond the last resting or grazing start date. This applies to all paddocks opened by gates."
- "Cannot backdate before mob’s original move-in date."
- "Backdating mob move failed for unknown reason, please contact support at hello@mobble.io"
Please note - backdating updates Days Grazed and Days Rested counters — it does not update historic livestock reports.
