Mobble News - onwards and upwards as Mobble grows

With Jock Lawrence

This year sure is wrapping up fast, but that hasn't stopped us from making waves at Mobble. From our official launch in New Zealand to record-low churn rates - it’s been a really exciting month.

Farmers are sticking with Mobble 🤝

Over the last two months, Mobble has had a retention rate of over 99.75%.

The vast majority of Mobblers are sticking with us year on year, which tells us that farmers are seeing real and ongoing value in Mobble for their farms. In fact, there were only 2 businesses that left Mobble across October/November, one due to selling the farm, and one due to moving from livestock to cropping. This is something we are really proud of and we can’t thank Mobblers enough for sticking with us.

Mobble is expanding across the ditch 🥝

We have officially launched Mobble in New Zealand! With Sarah jumping on board as our NZ local customer support and a number of NZ businesses already using Mobble, we’re committed to getting behind farmers and localising the product across the ditch.

Local farmer feedback is the most important part of making this happen. Having feet on the ground in New Zealand will provide local support and collect farmer feedback to keep building a product that makes farmers’ lives easier and more successful.

We can’t wait to welcome more NZ farmers to Mobble. Read more about Mobble’s expansion here

From the ground up: Colin Squires on getting into farming with Mobble 🐮

We caught up with first generation farmer, Colin Squires, to chat all about his big journey from suburban to farming life. Now owning and operating a cattle farm in Swanpool Vic, Colin and his partner are slowly building up their Angus breeding herd from the ground up, with Mobble lending a hand along the way

“It's easy to use and it saves you a lot of time. It's simple. You’re less likely to forget something that could lead to a failure later. It just makes you operate more effectively, you’re more on top of it, not finding surprises.”

From optimizing grazing management to real time data entry and task reminders, read Colin’s story to discover how Mobble is helping make his farm more efficient.

More hands on deck for Mobble development 🔨

We’re investing back into the product once again with 2 new hires at Mobble this month. To help keep things moving onwards and upwards, experienced Full Stack Developer, Albert Deda and Junior Developer Kenta Nakazaki, have joined the development team at Mobble.

The extra support and additional hands on deck will work to support new features, app stability, future integrations and ultimately create a better experience for our Mobblers. We’re excited to be expanding our development team and continue to work together with farmer feedback in creating a product that reflects farmer needs.

What’s next?

We’ll be taking a big step back and looking at the big picture tomorrow at our quarterly Mobble team meeting on the family farm. I’m excited to see what we come up with regarding our role in the ag industry and what more we can do for farmers to make their lives easier and more successful.

Stay tuned.

Onwards & upwards,

Jock Lawrence (Chief Mobbler)
